The initial business strategy planning day is a pre-requisite. This day provides the business owner or senior managers with clarity of purpose and direction and an executable plan with which to move forward. This module is suitable for all sizes of business. Call or email to find out more.

Additional services can be provided singly or in multiples as needed and requested. They include:

• Quarterly meetings with The Business Farm to ensure that the quarterly action plans for the past and current quarters are implemented and that the quarterly plan for the upcoming quarter is correctly in place

The major objective underlying the services provided by The Business Farm is the development of greater owner wealth through the application of a higher level of strategic development and business planning.

The Planning Day Module

During the planning day we will jointly -

• Reassess and confirm company values  
• Confirm the purpose of the company (beyond simply making money)
• Establish long, medium and short owner and company goals, including financial goals
  
• Determine the present and possible future market environment and the optimum company position in that future market
• Re-evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
• Crystallise a development strategy and company destination that meets owner and company goals
• Determine the objectives and time-bound actions required to achieve owner goals
• Establish key performance indicators that will clearly and in a timely fashion, show  both beneficial and adverse trends throughout the whole strategic development programme
• Asses the risks associated with the strategic development programme and outline plans that will be put in place to minimise the potential impact of these risks
• Develop and document the plan that summarises the findings of the day and lists the activity and timetable for the strategic development programme
• Help ensure that the day-to-day running of the business is structured to meet the needs and execution of the strategic development programme
  

Additional Modules

Quarterly Planning Assistance

Subsequent to the initial strategy meeting, there is the option for input to the ongoing management of the strategic development programme in the form of quarterly, two-hour "Executive Committee" meetings between your company and The Business Farm. These meetings would include:

• Review of company performance over the previous three months and year to date
• Review of progress on actions required to fulfil the strategic development programme
• Updating of the one-page strategic plan to reflect future requirements and deadlines for the strategic development programme
• Input to day to day operational issues as required

Mentoring/Coaching Programme

Usually fortnightly face to face meetings between The Business Farm and the key client person as "keep-on-track" meetings and for agenda and document preparation for the quarterly meetings.

This module can be tailored to suit the individual need of an owner or company.

Annual Planning Assistance
